Just a few days before their wedding, I was honored to do an engagement photo shoot in Annapolis, MD with a lovely couple I met at church, Ashley and Travis. The couple met during their final year at Messiah College in the heart of South Central Pennsylvania. They both lived in downtown Harrisburg and even ended up taking a few classes together. They didn't start dating however, until the fall after they graduated in 2010.
Travis moved to North Carolina and Ashley moved to Maryland, but distance only made the heart grow fonder. They wrote letters, sent packages, and became experts in writing heartfelt text messages. On June 17, 2012 Travis proposed on the beach in North Carolina, then moved to Maryland two months later to be closer to Ashley. They returned to South Central Pennsylvania for their wedding on July 19, 2013. Ashley and Travis now reside in Annapolis, MD, where they no longer have to write letters but still send heartfelt text messages.
